C'est juste avant Noël que les chercheurs français du Centre de Recherche en Neurosciences de l’INSERM Lyon et du C.H.U de Grenoble nous font un cadeau...
Cadeau sous forme d'une publication dans la revue the Journal of Neuroscience.
Il s'agit d'une étude qui s'intéresse à la lecture silencieuse, ou plus exactement au cerveau de lecteurs qui lisent dans leur tête, sans articulation ni à voix basse ni à forçiori à voix haute. ces scientifiques ont montré que lors de ces lectures, les zones cérébrales auditives étaient sollicitées.
Même si les mots ne sont pas réellement formulés lors de la lecture, le cerveau les entend.
Les applications de cette découverte pour le traitement de pathologies psychiatriques vont sans doute exploser, mais ce qui m'a surtout plu, c'est de lire (silencieusement) avec délice, le rêve de Los Teignos de l' AudioTeam :

Autant, les résultats de l'étude de l'INSERM et du CHU, il me semble que nous aurions pu nous en douter, autant il me semble difficile d'imaginer que l'on puisse penser et entendre silencieusement la musique de tout un orchestre.
C'est vrai, cette petite voix articulée est bien présente dans nos têtes, elle nous souffle les mots, mais concernant la musique, le plaisir que nous en ressentons ne vient-il pas précisément du fait que nous nous sentons comme dépassés par le phénomène, sous son charme, comme livrés à sa surprise harmonieuse ?
Donc, peu de chance de réussir à tout chanter, cordes et cuivres, voix et percussions, silencieusement. Non ? Ou alors mal, comme nous le ferions d'un souvenir.
